The cooking classes are informal and all the recipes come from the Italian and Neapolitan Tradition.

After the lesson you will enjoy the fruits of your work with a glass of house wine,water and home-made liqueurs are included too.

Cooking class for beginners

Arrival at the Terranova Farm.

Guided visit on our fields and gardens picking up seasonal herbs and vegetables ready to be transformed afterwards  together with our Chef in unique typical dishes. Supplied with hats and aprons, you will then be invited to prepare a  authentic” farm menu”.

You will be explained with the various steps of the fresh making pasta involved, later to be prepared and served with different local sauces  like the well recognized Piennolo  tomatoes sauce, grown at the Vesuvio’s appendix .

The cooking class includes

  • Appetizer (starter)

  • Coffee and liquors (own production)
  • Water and wine.

Full immersion of cooking class and wine tasting

This activity includes italian gastronomy and oenology.

Chef with Sommelier and guests, the perfect team for a special moment.

To learn to cook and drink with right combines of the excellence wines of the Campania region.

30 minutes of full immersion with several Campania region wines.

The Sommelier tells the vineyard story.

Tasting of 4 different wine qualities: a sparkling, a white one, a red one and a Rosè.

Visit of the farmhouse productions “ the agricolture tradition of the Sorrento Peninsula”.

Harvest of our farmhouse vegetables together with our chef, then production and making of starters, first corse, second corse and the farmhouse desserts.

It will illustrated the several phases of the fresh pasta making: the typical and famous ravioli of the Campania region filled with fresh ricotta and herbs, as well as the gnocchi dressed with traditional sauces, for example the sauce with the pomodorini of Piennolo vesuviano quality which will be produced, cooked and served from the same guests.

All at work: The guests in the beautiful corner of the farmhouse “Fattoria Terranova” will start the making of the weekly menu, tasting the Campanian wines.

At the end of the course we will leave you the farmhouse cook-book and a participation certificate.
